December 2011

Another jam packed month. We started with trying to attempt some family pictures. Before we had the official ones later in the month. Then Ashley, Mom, Kelsie and I got to go to the Nutcracker. My mom's work puts on a reception before it and it was fabulous. We loved it and it was the first time I had even seen it. Then my mother in law cam for the week before Christmas to help out. The kids had a blast with her. My father in law flew in on Christmas Eve so we went to the Christmas lights/nativity at the temple and met some dear friends of ours from Washington that snowbird down here in the winter. The big day was Sunday with it being Christmas and we also blessed Draelen. What a beautiful day. All of my siblings were in town and all of them came to church. It was very special for me. We opened lots of gifts and ate lots of yummy food. Then the next day we did the Hosford side family pictures. (Didn't post any cause they are on a disc at my mom's) it was also my mom's birthday so my brother in law Hiram and sister Aly made a delicious Mexican lunch/dinner. It was so nice to have everyone here and have our own place to escape to when we needed to.

November 2011

Our new addition to the family arrived on November 9th. Draelen Eli was 8lbs even and has red hair. Derek was able to help again with the delivery which is what he loves. My sister Kelsie was with us through the labor and delivery. He is a beautiful baby. All the other kids love him even Elora who I was a bit worried about. The other event was Thanksgiving which was pretty low key. We went to my mom's house and had a feast of course. We found Draelen the above onsie that was so cute that says "My Uncle's a great Catch" and has a football on it. Thought is was very approriate for Thanksgiving football. We are so blessed to have him in our family and to have our family be complete now.

October 2011

Our month of October was jam packed full of events. Ashley had 2 cross country meets, my sisters and mom threw me a baby shower, Ashley and Aunt Kelsie went to the Taylor Swift concert and it was Halloween. We had a baseball themed baby shower and it was awesome. They did an amazing job and I got some great gifts. Ashley was in heaven for the Taylor Swift concert it was her birthday present from Aunt Kelsie and Uncle Branden and it was amazing for her.For Halloween the girls were ghosts and the boys were mummies. If it wasn't for my sister Kelsie the boys would have never gotten done. We took strips of fabric and hand sewed them onto their clothes it was very time consuming but they turned out great. I love to do themes and it was a good one.
