Tanis's Science Fair Project Trials
So now that Tanis is in 4th grade he has to do a project for the Science fair. He decided to do one were we saw how many books egg shells could hold. So he 1st started with 2 eggs and found that only 2 books would balance on them. So the next one was 3 eggs and then 4 eggs. We found out that 4 eggs obviously could hold more books then the others. It was lots of fun.
Okay... very interesting by the way! I've been helping with science projects for years and this one is totally interesting! thanks for sharing... question... it looks like you cracked the eggs and set the books on 1/2 an egg shell... was that considered one egg or 2 - 1/2 considered 1 egg? I hope my question makes sense. Hopefully I'll remember this by fall when we have to do science fair projects again!! Great idea!
Sharon the 1/2 of an egg is considered 1 egg. Derek actually found this project in the newspaper and clipped it and brought it home. I can scan it in later so you can actually see the instructions.
